Ms. Yu has a diverse background in financial and real estate concepts. Ms. Yu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Real Estate Management from Bentley College. She is schooled in a variety of valuation techniques including DCF analysis, and has extensive coursework experience in specialty properties including senior housing, industrial, retail, office, and undeveloped land.
Prior to Birch|REA, Ms. Yu had a multitude of experience in financial services through internships. She worked as an assistant to the Department of Finance at Bentley College, in which she was responsible for assisting in research for the Professors of Finance. She has also worked for Morgan Stanley in Wealth Advising by managing and performing financial analysis on client accounts. Erica’s experience also includes the formation and management of private equity and venture capital.
Ms. Yu is currently pursuing her Appraisal Trainee license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
